Saturday Evening
We had a really warm day today, and noisy! The birds are coming back to nest and are right behind our operating
position. The rangers moved some of their building supplies and a boat that are stored on the north coaling dock
down closer to the seaplane beach before the biologists close the nesting area.

Our cooks contine to provide first rate meals, we usally start with an eggs, bacon and fried potatoes for breakfast,
sandwiches for lunch and supper this evening was chicken, beef steak, potatoes, fried mushrooms and salad. Tommorow
after most of our things go with the Captian, we will be using a charcoal grill instead of the Blackstone grill.
Eating meals together is one of the trip highlights for me.

AK9IT has continued his efforts to work satellites, however I forgot to ask his success rate. We haven’t caught 6 meter
opening but we will continue to check. We thank each one of you that has been helping to make this expedition so enjoyable.
